Top 5 Reasons I'm going to miss Stillwater!

First off, I want to tell everyone that today marks three years of dating for Kyle and I! I'm not sure if it technically counts anymore since we are engaged, but we will let it slide until June 18!!!

If you have ever been to Stillwater you may think it's not that great, but once you live here and go to school here your opinion definitely changes. I know when I made the decision I was going to come here for school I was pretty upset there wasn't a Target, mall, or very many restaurants. I learned to work with it and I have managed pretty well.

1. The build-up to game days. Even though I work in the Athletic Department and am around the atmosphere constantly, there is nothing better than hearing people talk about football and basketball games in classes and every one looking forward to those days so badly. It is very uncommon to not see someone wearing orange on Fridays. Besides those professors who could care less about Athletics, everyone else is all for it at all times.

2. My job. The past year and a half has been the best experience I have ever had with a job. It has given me the opportunity to really be hands on with event planning and I have loved it. Even though the hours are long I will miss getting to be involved in every event and the people I work with. (All of my Event Staff friends too!)

3. Well this is more for the school aspect, but I will miss waking up at 8:00 am and thinking hmmm...I think I may just allow myself to sleep in today! :) Best feeling ever. Don't worry I always complete all of my assignments and only miss when I know I can. ;)

4. Being surrounded by friends constantly. Since my sophomore year I have slowly been losing friends to graduation, but it is so fun to be able to hangout until wee hours of the morning and just talking and laughing.

5. This is going to be an everything else category. The Barn Pepsi, Boomer Lake, Panda Chinese (best wontons ever), walking to class on campus, living with my friends, Rhinestone Cowgirl (has so much zebra stuff...eek LOVE IT), the 2 McDonald's (I keep in business), and so many more things, but I'm running late for class so check back to see if I add more!
