OSU Bucket List

So, I realize that this is two posts in a row having to do with OSU.....get used to it.  I attribute my obsession with the orange & black to two things: football season is nearing quickly and my depression that I am not in Stillwater with a flexible schedule, where I can sleep in or skip class all together (not that I ever did that....ah, who cares.  I passed didn't I.....)

Some of my newlywed friends were over for dinner a couple of weeks ago and told me about an OSU bucket list that they had seen on a sports forum recently.  I thought it would be fun to rehash some memories and give some suggestions (both good and bad) that everybody should experience in their time in Stillwater.

!!Disclaimer!!: If either of my parents are reading this I want to remind them that I passed and none of this can be held against me.

1) Have a semester with only Tuesday and Thursday classes.  Some of the best late nights and long weekends of my college career.

2) On the same subject as #1, have a fifteen day spring break covering 10 states.  One of the worst ideas I had, but wouldn't trade it for anything.

3) Live out of your car for a weekend.  This happened after I moved out of a fraternity house with no back up plan....the weekend before my parents move from Kansas to Ohio....turned out okay.

4) Witness a voice over attempt to an Eminem song near 2 a.m. on a school night.

5) Skip class and drive around picking up strangers and taking them to their class.  The whole time yell "Orange" hoping to get "Power" back.

6) Road trip to Texas A&M, K-State, Ohio, Texas, KU.  One of my K-State trips was on a Wednesday night to watch a women's basketball game......we also had to bring the team the correct jerseys.

7) Eat at Mom's Place and El Vac.

8) Witness a flash rave in the Student Union.

9) Obviously, go to every football and basketball game you can afford.  Camp out for the big ones.

10) Enter some obscure intramural sport, such as thumb wrestling or tick tack toe (I did neither, but did play floor hockey and ping pong).

11) Attempt to build a hamster kingdom in your dorm room....until you find out the fine for pets is over $1,000.
