After my finals week came to an end, Kyle and I felt it was the perfect time to take a trip with his brother and work friends to beautiful Jamaica! I can't tell you how excited I was to lay on the beach and eat as much as I wanted.
Since this was my first time out of the country I was very excited to get my first stamp in my passport! I have been to Mexico before, but it was before they required a passport. When we arrived in Jamaica it took quite awhile to get through customs, but once we did there was a great waiting area provided by Sandals to hang out and enjoy a snack until our bus was ready to pick us up. Once the bus arrived we were on our way!!! When we arrived at the resort, we were all in shock how well we were treated and how beautiful the resort was. Being a hospitality major this is something I look for when I stay in any hotel or resort. Sandals definitely gets an A++! :)

It was a short two day trip, but we didn't let any meal or activity pass us up! Our full day on Saturday consisted of: gourmet breakfast, tubing, sand volleyball, barefoot basketball (mistake), ping pong tournament, snorkeling, snacks every hour, glass bottom boat ride, hot tub, amazing dinner reservations to an Italian restaurant and a dance party. Did I mention it was Kyle's 22nd birthday while we were there?? Lucky boy!
Jamaica was a great trip and I loved visiting the week before Christmas because there is nothing better than being in your swimsuit in 82 degree weather while listening to Christmas music and being surrounded by Christmas decorations.
I will see you in June, Sandals...Antigua this time!
It was my 23rd birthday....thanks for remembering.
