Christmas Eve!

Christmas was a little different for both Kyle and I this year because it was the first time he was away from his family and it was the first time we had spent it together. It was definitely bitter sweet because I loved having Kyle with me, but I know that his family missed him and he missed them as well.

I arrived in Muskogee Monday morning and Kyle arrived on Thursday afternoon. I spent the days with my family cooking, playing toys with the boys, eating, shopping, dance parties in the kitchen (Kelli is learning some new moves), wrapping presents, and just enjoying each others company.

On Christmas Eve we all got dressed up and headed to candlelight service at Boulevard. This has always been one of my favorite things since I was little and I enjoyed sharing it with Kyle this year. After church we came home to eat cheese dip, pigs in a blanket, spinach dip, meatballs, crab cakes, cheese and crackers, jalapeno bites, shrimp cocktail, and so many sweets. We had a great night and enjoyed having the Moss' over to share in it!
One of my favorite traditions is opening pajamas on Christmas Eve so we can wear them the next morning! We all opened them and then Canon and Ledger set out milk and cookies for Santa and it was off to bed we went!
