Top 5
Today is a rather intriguing category......top 5 things you may not know about Lauren.
5) If you hadn't heard that Lauren had a blankie this would definitely hit the list, but since I think everybody knows......I will have to start with her biggest and only insecurity. Lauren's hair smells like goat. Not really, of course, but I always think it is one of the funny things that my (soon to be) sister-in-law & brother-in-law (Lane and Kelli) used to tease her about when she was a kid, and I think she still is a bit self conscious.

Top 5 Places I love visiting when I'm home!
Ok, so most of these places will be food joints (call me chubs), but that's okay because I haven't got to I have them in so long and they are all local so I love getting to come home and eat good. I have been to most of them in the last two days since I have been home for thanksgiving!
1. Beacon Drive-Inn. This is a local fast food place that is like a sonic. It has the best Pepsi and I crave it all the time. My order when I go there is a cheeseburger with EVERYTHING on it, french fries with mayo and ketchup, and a large PEPSI!
2. Mahylon's. This restaurant is a barbeque place that has the best grilled chicken. I know its weird to go to a BBQ joint and order chicken, but leave it to me. My order when I go here is grilled chicken dinner, loaded baked potato, and salad with extra ranch! :)
3. Charlie's Chicken. Ok, so I have to start off by saying that Muskogee has the best Charlie's. Stillwater has one, but it doesn't even come close to tasting as good as the one here. My order when I go here is a child's chunk...sounds gross, but they are chicken chunks, mashed potatoes, and a roll.
4. The Roger's. Even though I don't get to see them as often as I would like I love getting to visit them when I can. Scott, Carlisa, Maddie, Erin, and Cole are some of my favorite people and I miss those kids so much when I'm in Stillwater. I babysat them the past 3 summers and I loved every minute of it. Hopefully I will see them before I leave home.
5. Ok, this is opposite of the actual title because I am totally stuck on #5 because I'm having a hard time coming up with another place I love so I will leave with the place I absolutely hate going to.....WAL-MART. As Kyle would say he feels like an absolute superstar when he goes there because he is wearing shoes, has all his teeth, and isn't yelling at his children in the basket.
I'm excited to spend this weekend with my family who is in from Little Rock. My Mamie and Papa John, Aunt Kim, Uncle Jim, Courtney, Karrie, Johnathan, little baby Ben! Then of course my mom, Chloe, Lane, Kelli, Canon, and Ledger!

Top 5 OSU Moments
This week I have decided to write about something near and dear to my heart. OSU Athletics.
I know I don't mention it very often, especially on here, but I do love OSU sports (catch the sarcasm). As a group, us OSU fans have been through some rough times. Growing up I always heard my grandfather and uncle talk about since losing builds character we have more character than most other fans in the country.
Today is different. We have a football in the Top 10 who just beat Texas. I figured I would would recollect some of the grand memories over my life time of OSU sports.

Top 5 Things I love about the holidays!
I can't believe it is already the holiday season again....it seems like this year has absolutely flown by and I know it will continue to do so until our wedding day. There is nothing I love more than Thanksgiving and Christmas and everything in between. So with that being said here are the Top 5 things I love about the holidays!
1. Food. I am especially excited for the yummy food this year because ever since Kyle has moved to Dallas I never cook for myself because it is too hard to only cook for one. I'm ready for mashed potatoes, stuffing, ham, deviled eggs, asparagus casserole, green beans, lima beans, and rolls! Of course I'm looking forward to everything in between like Christmas sugar cookies, chex mix, hot chocolate, puppy chow, and all the other desserts!

Today's Top 5
Today's category is a broad one, but one that has been on my mind since yesterday when the cold front (and lots of rain) rode into Dallas causing my head to feel like it about to burst. The subject of todays list is things I look forward to in the upcoming months (holiday season).
5. Basketball Season. I can not wait for ESPN to kick off the season with 24 hours of basketball, and then have something to watch every single night. I just wish they would get the old gang back together on Big Mondays in the Big 12 and toss Bobby Knight and Musburger to the curb.

Top 5 Reasons I'm going to miss Stillwater!
First off, I want to tell everyone that today marks three years of dating for Kyle and I! I'm not sure if it technically counts anymore since we are engaged, but we will let it slide until June 18!!!
If you have ever been to Stillwater you may think it's not that great, but once you live here and go to school here your opinion definitely changes. I know when I made the decision I was going to come here for school I was pretty upset there wasn't a Target, mall, or very many restaurants. I learned to work with it and I have managed pretty well.

Top 5!!
Todays topic is top five reason's I am excited about our wedding.
5. All the attention will be on me! Well, I know mainly Lauren..........
4. Gifts! If this registering things works like they say it does I will have double all items I already own. I actually have pretty decent kitchen stuff, but now I will have even better stuff. Not sure why we need it all, but I am told that is how it works.
3. The candy table. Apparently there is a table at our reception just for candy. Nothing could be bad about this!
2. Our colors are orange & black. I am not sure if I should reveal this yet, but I am not sure how I tricked Lauren into this.....OSU orange at that.
1. Our reception is in Historic Gallagher-Iba Arena over looking "Soon to be Historic" Boone Pickens Stadium. I am having the ultimate OSU wedding.
1A. The girl I get to marry.....enough said.

Top 5 Places I want to go!
With Kyle's job he has now, it has allowed us to travel to places that we may not have been able to go otherwise. I love traveling and visiting new places so him working for American Airlines has been a huge blessing! With that being said I wanted to make a list of my Top 5 places I want to go!
1. Australia. I have always wanted to visit Australia. Especially since my friend Hannah lives over there now, it gives me more reason to want to go.

Top 5 Wednesday
So, I figured I would go ahead and follow suit to her post last week about top reasons to marry me (when I say follow suit I mean it isn't worth the fight to do something funny or embarrassing after how sweet she was last week).
So, her we go.......
1. She says whatever is on her mind (good, bad or indifferent). The first time I ever met Lauren she was a senior in high school and I was a cool college guy. I am pretty sure she had a crush on me for 8 months between our first and second meeting. If you didn't know, her sister is married to one of my good friends brothers. So, Lauren made the big girl trip, with her sister, up to Stillwater for our Thursday night church service. Someone had pointed her out earlier, but I hadn't had a chance to meet her yet. After the service I was talking to a girl in one of my accounting classes talking about the "real world" (a term very overused in college). As we were in the middle (of what I am sure was a mind blowing) conversation about accounting Lauren steps in and says, "I love the real world, do you watch the show too?". I wish I could say this is when I knew that we would fall in love, but it wasn't........
2. I laugh with her more than anybody else (usually because of reason 1). Especially when we don't see each other for a while, one of the most refreshing things to do with her is spend an afternoon just laughing with each other. It usually entails making fun of others, but it keeps us occupied.
3. She loves my friends and family......sometimes more than me. She always wants to talk to or spend time with both groups. Since the first time she has met most of my friends she has fit right in, and that is really tough to (we have very high standards.....?). She also talks to my family more than I do.
4. She is adventurous. This one is tricky....because we both have very different definitions of this. She love do to things like find the biggest roller coaster or jump out of a plane, where I want to break the rules (even when there aren't rules she just thinks there are) or make a 6 hour drive to see a friend on a week night. We have fun pressuring each other into adventures.
5. I am going to call this reason the "all other" category (I know it is kind of cheating, but it is my blog. When you have a blog you can make up the rules). Plus, the all kind of roll up into one. Her personality, how strong she is, how she challenges me, how she takes initiative when she is passionate about something.....and much more.
Marriage life is going to be great! I guess if I could add one more bullet it is just so we could live together. Long distance sucks.......

Top 5 Reasons I knew I wanted to marry Kyle!
Well, there are many things that contributed to me knowing that I wanted to marry Kyle, but I will list what I consider my top 5. I made a list back in the 8th grade of what I felt was important in choosing my future husband. I still have it and have compared it to what I have found in Kyle and it is amazing how it matches perfectly. Isn't it funny how God works? He knew before I was born that I would be marrying Kyle and I am so thankful that even in the 8th grade he was preparing my heart for him.

Top 5 Things We Love Together
Continuing with Lauren's great idea from last week I am going to touch on the top 5 things we love to do together.
5. Going to sporting events, usually OSU. I put this at number 5 only because most times we are at sporting events one of us is working, but even then we have a blast.
